How it works

The submersible UV-C lamp with a precise wavelength of 253.7 nm reliably destroys bacteria, viruses, and other germs that occur in water. The lamp socket is equipped with a special sealing system to protect against moisture permeation. Therefore, the submersible lamp can be permanently installed in the water phase. It is also possible to equip the submersible lamps with ozone-producing lights.

3. Mounted via spring clips onto a stainless steel strip acting as a bracket, the lamp can be fixed to the bottom of a tank or float freely without the bracket.
4. The submersible lamps can be supplied with/without electronic ballasts or with/without a distribution board
5. For easy installation, a complete set that includes an electronic ballast is offered. A distribution board must be installed only if operating hours need to be recorded separately or if it is necessary to monitor the lamp or ballast operation (on/off).

Maintenance

● Lamp replacement is recommended every 8000 hours of operation. After 8000 hours, the lamp may still light, but the UV intensity has diminished.
● Cleaning of the quartz sleeve once 3-6 months with alcohol or a mild detergent.
